Every team must provide one logistics helper for the day of the Regional Tournament. This person will work approximately two hours at either morning registration for judges and teams, souvenir sales, the spontaneous waiting area, traffic and parking control, competition site door monitoring, or other similar jobs.
Each team will receive a timeslot assignment after the schedule has been finalized. At that point, the coach will be responsible for obtaining the commitment of an adult to fill that timeslot on behalf of the team. Failure to provide a volunteer could result in the assessment of an “Unsportsmanlike Conduct” penalty against the team.
Volunteers play an important role in making our regional tournament a success; we could not do it without them!
Logistics Helper Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be available to help for at least two hours during the tournament
- Cannot be the coach of a team at this tournament
- Cannot be an all-day judge at this tournament
