On the NoVA North web site select Regional Tournament Judges under the Judges menu item at the top of the page; the Judges Training event in the Important Events list also has a link.
Judges who are volunteering on behalf of a team need to sign up before the team can be registered for the Regional Tournament. The team’s coach will need the ID number assigned as well as the exact name you provided (if you are known as Bob but registered as Robert the coach needs to identify you as Robert).

New Rule added #28: The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology for any part of a team’s solution is considered Outside Assistance.

There will be 2 sessions when coaches and team members can ask questions of the NoVA North/South Problem Captains at the Sully District Government Center (4900 Stonecroft Blvd, Chantilly) Be sure to bring your problem statements and remember that the PCs cannot give outside assistance.
Saturday 12/2 — 9:30am-11:30 –Primary, Problems 2,3,5 (4 PCs taking questions)
11:30-12:45pm — Spontaneous practice with kits available to purchase for $25
Sunday 12/3 —1pm -2 Problem 1

Is your team confused about “Style” and how to incorporate the requirements into their long-term solution? A NovaNorth Board member is willing to meet with teams to explain the Style component and strategies for earning maximum points. Ask your school coordinator to email
